Been wiring a barn for some of my kin folk in lowndes county. Stood there Wednesday afternoon and watched his fields behind the barn. He’s loaded right now.

Didn’t see any dove but did flush a covey of quail out of my millet. Millet has been taken over by grass, but there still plenty of seed there. Gonna spray it with round up and come back and burn it in 2 weeks. We won’t shoot it until last weekend in september

The hunt I e gone on the last 10 years in Lee co and never not shot a limit is in jeopardy of being rescheduled. Talked to the farmer and haven’t seen more than a dozen or so doves. The other spot I have for opening day in Dallas co is supposedly loaded. Calling for 98° this weekend so I sure hope I can find a shady spot.

I'm hoping all y'all's birds migrate South to my place! Lol!
I sure don't have any right now. I'm working this weekend so not sweating it for now. Burned one strip of millet today (about an acre) and I'll burn more next week.
I honestly don't care to shoot them with the temp in the upper 90's.
