Any of you goobers ever hunted divers in the bays down there? Going with a buddy that knows what he’s doing. Just wondering about the success any of y’all have had down there. I do plenty of duck hunting but just puddle ducks. I think he normally gets into some redheads and buffleheads. What should an ol small water puddle ducker expect?

Usually much less wary than puddle ducks. Those buffleheads fly right over the water.

Nothing to it. Expect a lot of work setting out the spread. Normally plenty of birds down that way, buffies, redheads, blue bills. Occasional ringers, cans, pintail, teal, etc.

Find birds, set out long lines, set up blind/boat/whatever, kill birds..? That about it?
