14 minutes

Is all it took to get a five man limit of canvasbacks this morning. Eating at the Huddle House by 7. Days like these are few and far between.

All I want to shoot is one for the wall. Bet that was fun!

Must be something about 14 minutes...last week we shot a 5 man limit of decoying specklebellies in 14 minutess...from the first shot to the last bird in my hand!
Previous best was 4 limits in 12 minutes which ain't bad either...

Probably could have killed a 15 man limit in a hour this morning if we had the guns. Just happened to be right where they wanted to be. There ain’t nothing like groups of Cans coming feet down in the decoys.

No other ducks flying?

We left right after we limited on cans, but only seen one bluebill and a handful of gadwall other than the canvasbacks.

Those Cans can be so frustrating. They will land on top of you, or they will form a floating island just out of shooting range.

Shoot for some decoying cans ill sit in your blind and say "War...." Nah, maybe not that far. But close!
