My first post about Ducks this year, Teal are coming!!!!

I am finding myself getting way to ready for the September duck season to start!

Whoa, too early.

I say this after spending an hour re-rigging some decoys last night.

Im repainting my duck boat and it doesnt need it.

I'm trying to pattern the geese around my house. The little ones are about mallard size now

Yep, the little ones around my place are about the same size. Some a little bigger.

I will be painting the boat here in the next few weeks and I have bought 4 more dozen decoys that I will be rigging up before too long. I'm ready for September and even more ready for it to get cold.

I don't think I will ever paint a boat again. Did a few jon boats and that's for the birds...

BTW hope yall have put in for yall's teal tags. They're gonna go fast this year.

I'm afraid of the moccasins that will still be in my duck hole in September.

I killed 2 good sized cottonmouths in one hunt last year in September, but I got a limit of blue wings that morning so it all worked out.
