My short waterfowl season - 02/02/17 07:15 PM
This was my second year to do any kind of waterfowl hunting. Not a lot of my buddies do it. So I only got to go a few times, but enjoyed it.
Went to Camden Bottoms WMA 2 times, I've made friends with an absolute great bunch of folks up there.
Kate and Rooster did the pick up work
Nice gadwall I got on a farm pond at home
Some geese from the last weekend of season, these are the first bird I actually set up on killed on my own. They were prob coming to the pond anyway but it felt good that they didn't take off when I called to them.
Also got a nice wood duck that I dropped off with Josh Jackson to get mounted. Looking forward to next year already.
