Lower Delta Hogs?

Lower Delta Hogs? - 01/18/23 03:29 AM

Any of you south AL guys have experience with getting on hogs in the lower delta via boat? A couple buddies and I are going down Thursday through Sunday to give it a go. Not sure where to begin looking, it all seems like mostly the same terrain. I figure we’ll probably ease up some of the creeks in the boat hoping to hear some and hop off to make a stalk. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The population is way down from high water the last few years but coming back slowly. I highly suggest hunting the upper delta. From my experience the lower delta is hell on earth if you try to go much over 50 yards from the bank.

I hunted the lower serval years ago. I was amazed how hard it was to go in land. Amazon jungle like.
