Considering trying to find some hogs by boat on COE land between Boligee and Forkland after deer season ends. Am I reading the COE regs right that I could only use weapons in season at that time (.22 caliber or shotgun with #4 or smaller)?

Yes or archery but no 22 mag. I know it's stupid but I've killed a pile of them with a 22lr

Id like to add...i would shoot a pig in the head wheather i had a pellet gun or a 300rum...soo..rimfire is more than adequate

I’ve killed a few with a gamo pellet rifle. It started as a joke but it worked. Dropped a 180 pound sow in her tracks at 56 yards. They’re not made of steel. when foreign matter is injected into the brain at high speed, life usually stops!
