What do y’all do with hogs after you kill them?

Obviously you can get them processed but between 4 people yesterday we shot 3. We are getting them processed but after this I will only want one more processed. But we still need to ikill all the hogs we see.

Buzzards gotta eat too.

There’s a big debate about the legality of it. My favorite processor won’t do them because he said a USDA lady in Montgomery told him he couldn’t.

As best I can tell, though, he could use the custom processing exemption from the meat inspection act as long as the processed meat was labeled “not for sale” and was only for my personal, non-commercial use in my house with my family.

It is entirely possible he doesn’t want to do pigs and just uses USDA as an excuse. Although, I trust him that he was told he couldn’t do it.

U eat them. I like deer. But that hog is better. Cut him up like a deer. Put in cooler. Withe box of bakin powder. And a big bottle of lemon juice. Fill with water and ice. For 3 to 4 days. Pouring access water of. It works
