Been squirrel hunting any chance I get since opening day cause I’m addicted to the woods. Anyways the main areas I e been hunting definitely got hogs. I will be honest I’m not used to hogs quite yet as I moved to the area few years ago. Do boars or angry mamas make any warning noise prior to charging thru the brush? I ask because I had some snorters about 30 to 40 yds away on other side of thick brush I only could catches glimpses of them and hear them rooting around. I was tempted to make a move butt was carrying mainly squirrel shotgun loads except for some rifled slugs in crap hits fan scenario like this one could of been. I’m itching to get at em since I know they are there and they didn’t catch my wind or bust me on that encounter. But like to know more about there asshole attitudes prior to tackling them in close quarters with possibly just #6 birdshot or slugs to the face. Anyone willing to share insight on killing them in close quarters without getting your butt kicked
