Well these old cur dogs will get some rest now that turkey season is in. It was nice to get a break from all the overtime at work and actually get to hunt more than once a week. My dogs accounted for the death of 68 hogs in the 4 weeks between deer and turkey season. If you add in the other hogs caught on the hunts I was apart of we killed 103 hogs off of 3 different properties!!! I know the media and even Mr. Chuck Sykes says that hunting with dogs is not an effective way to control hogs but I have to disagree.
