Day walkers

Day walkers - 10/31/17 08:50 AM

Pigs seem to do crazy things sometimes. I have caught pigs during the daylight 3 times over the past week. Once in the morning and twice in the afternoon. Catches of 7, 18, and yesterday 10. I didn't run the traps until after dark, on the last two catches I was able to sneak up and shoot a pig on the outside of the trap as well. Adding a couple of bonus pigs.

The first one was a lone boar that had been hitting the trap by himself pretty regular. The last one I am not sure about. There were two extras pigs on the outside. I never got a picture of them on the outside. They were behind the trap in the woods when I snuck in.

Anyway, still racing toward 801!

Just dropped the gate on another sounder of day walkers. Headed over to the club to let the air out of them after work.

We have about 4,000 acres scattered on 5 tracts from south Montgomery county to Zion Chapel, to Goshen to Brundidge and as far as I know we don't have any hogs on either of the tracts, not that I want any.
