Here is plan B

Buy Phosphorus and Potassium separately.
Phosphorus is 0-45-0 and $17.45/bag
Pot Ash (Pottasium) is close to 0-0-61 and $18.95/bag

So one bag of 0-20-20 has 10lbs of P & K

50lb bags of the above has 22.5lbs and 30.5lbs respectively. So for the same amount of money you can get double the product.

Josh, help me wrap my mind around this...fyi, I'm a simple man!

If applying at a rate of 300# per acre...it would take 6 bags of 0-20-20.

If my math is correct...you are saying 2 bags each of P & K would essentially = 6 bags of 0-20-20. Is this correct so far?

If so, using the prices listed, this is $98.70 (0-20-20) compared to $72.80 (P & K bought separately). This is a $25.90 savings per 300# or per acre of ground. If you were to buy a ton of 0-20-20 (40 bags)...this would save you ~$181.30 (if you round up and figure the $25.90 savings 7 times).

Do I have all of this right or am I way off?
