Anyone ever had any success using these for deer? The big black or red plastic tub filled with a minerals, protein and molasses mix?

They dont like to put they're head down into anything. Blocks their vision.

I could see that. You could just cut the tub down as they eat it though.

So the tub sits out in open? No need to cover it from rain?
