Herbicide Usage/Mixing

For spraying trails, I had someone suggest adding some Imazapyr to Glyphosate for long term effectiveness. Anyone else do this? At what rate do you add the Imazapyr? I have been mixing 41% Gly at around 2 oz/gal. I also see info comparing Triclopyr to Imazapyr. Is one of these better than the other?

Also, does anyone blend 2-4D with Gly for spraying food plots? If so, what ratio do you suggest for this blend?

For plots I use 2% of 41% Gly. For roads and trails I use 2% gly plus 1% 2-4D.

Imazapyr can get you into trouble in certain situations. For trails I’d just use 2-4% gly and .75% Remedy/trichlopyr 4/Garlon

I would not use imazapyr on my property. I guess it might be OK through a pine plantation, but it'll kill hardwoods.

I mix imazapyr where I want to kill everything quickly and decisively.
