Nutsedge

My neighbor has a 1.5 acre food plot that is heavily infested with Nutgrass and wants to get rid of it, or at least knock it back substantially. Is there any way to do this with his current rotation of IC Peas/Sunn Hemp in summer and typical food plot mix in fall/winter? Do the Nut Sedge herbicide such as Basagram or other nutgrass specific herbicides have residuals and do they typically kill everything like RoundUp?

I had a problem in my yard with it and used a product called Image and it will not kill grass but weeds and especially nutsedge. Very expensive but works well. Have never used in a food plot....:)

I spray a couple of my summer plots every year with Sedgehammer. Doesn’t bother anything else that I can tell.

Also spot spray my yard with it.
