Sprayer Tank Cleaner

What do y'all run through your sprayer and boom before putting it up for the winter ?

Ammonia from dollar general then clean water flush. Pull all plugs and drain completely.

Ammonia or that spray tank powder you can get from Tractor Supply. Main thing is to make sure they are clean.

So dawn dish soap won't work to clean then water?

Soap would be hard to clean out of the system I would think. Just run some vinegar or ammonia thru it and then a little pure water and then let it blow air for a minute so.

Do not use dawn.

I've had the same tank and pump for for almost 20 years and all I've ever ran thru mine is just plain ole water.

Well I learned something. I guess I'll stick with water or vinegar.

I use water, but then again, I do not mix sprayers. I have one for herbicide and one for water and one for insecticide.
