Thanks Benjy. It was great to meet you and I hate y'all couldn't stay longer and look around the place.

I'm not a big rules guy, and we've never had a need for a comprehensivie rules book... but I also realize that we owe it to anyone considering joining us to have some some general policies in writing, so here goes:

Guest policy:
-Guest kills count against membership allowance.
-Children of members (while still full-time students) are considered guests but are allowed unlimited visits, including during turkey season..
-Guests may not hunt without the hosting member being present (specifically including youth).
-Each member is allowed 2 guest days per season (so 1 guest for 2 days OR 2 guests for one day each OR 4 guests for 1/2 day each).
-A membership may sign out for only two stands at one time. .
-No guests during turkey season
-No guest fees

One spot filled. Still considering a 5th so we can lime some plots and have full budget for planting.

I have a new lease in Chilton. I've never hunted this county.

For those who know this county, how is the deer hunting there in terms of numbers and quality of deer? Are there any CWD concerns? Tell me your hunting experience in Chilton County.

Free bump for the op.

There ain’t but one river right there and it’s the coosa river. Waxahatchee is a creek that empties into the coosa river.

Thank you Turkey neck.

There is a decent little restaurant nearby on the way toward Clanton.

What are average buck and doe weights in this area?
