For those that aren't very familiar with this part of Illinois let me share some knowledge with y'all.
The land owner I lease from has a farm in the area that wasn't leased and it does not look very impressive from the aerial view. I decided I would drive up and put a few cameras out on the property since we did not have much for shooter deer on my farm. I also made a friend from this area over the summer that has a nice farm, he invited me to come by to check out his place while in the area.
Guy's this area produces some mega giants!! The deer I got on camera on my land owners farm would make most anyone happy from Alabama. I do believe if the farmer had not plowed under the corn stubble that farm would have shown more promise. Plowing the corn under did hurt the amount of pictures I got, however I had several very nice deer on camera.
As for my friends place, he had a very impressive collection of mega giants hanging on his wall. Multiple deer over the 170's and several much bigger. If the property above is half way decent I would give this opportunity a hard look if I were looking for a place to hunt in Illinois!!

Too far North from other Leases but that is a good area at a fair price
