Looking to Join a Club (2hr radius from Bham)

Recently moved back to Alabama and looking to get into a club where I can bring my two boys. Budget around $3500. Avid hunting family but at this stage convenience and enjoyment of the outdoors has taken the place of trophy hunting. Would like to be within 2 hrs of Birmingham.

Camphouse preferred but not necessary. Always happy to put in the necessary work associated with a good club. Hoping I can make some traction here early in the year.

Southern Sportsman in Livingston is inside that radius - not sure of membership $ but it cheaper than 3 k best I remember - great deer area - they got motel type Rooms to stay in and it a hunting club - got bass lake

I use to hear good things about it - if I remember - they had lot of land - not sure if still good but u can check

Check southern sportsman real close - Carbon Climber just said in another thread it going down some

I googled it yesterday and google had comments from Alldeer on it about southern sportsman and we even had some member of club on aldeer and a board member - that was from 2014 - May want to check - they may still b part of club

Only thing about clubs is you have one clown that has an attitude and wants to run everything. Glad I have my own land where I can be the dictator.

Hey Cowhorn - look at the latest post - Possum creek hunting club in Perry county - sounds pretty dang good - that prob 1 1/2 hour from Bham

Appreciate that TDog. I was fortunate to find a place for this season but I am going to contact PCHC as well for possible future opportunities.
