Looking for turkey only rights

Looking for turkey only rights - 10/31/20 02:53 PM

Looking for a safe place where there are actually turkeys and not too many turkey hunters. Ideally Shelby county but just want to be not too far from Birmingham. I am 63 and no drama and will pay a good price for the right place. Been in two other clubs but so far no one has delivered on their promises about their club, number of hunters, etc

Thanks TurkeyJoe. Love to find something within an hour of Birmingham or so.

I love it but am not great at it, just trying to improve and learn. Been hard to find good property and good, safe club.

good turkey woods are hard to come by & most of those who love it will hoard it up

Best of luck. I'm sure you'll have to pick from tons of great options and offers. Especially an hour from a large city.

Welcome Glades. This Unicorn has been chased for years, but you may be the guy who finally catches it. Good Luck.

Our club only hunts deer. I’ve thought about trying to learn the turkey hunting thing but don’t much much time. We are located in butler county
Though.

If that’s too far away for the OP, please put me second in line to discuss turkey rights for your club. Thanks

Good luck. Back when I only deer hunted, we had a guy in our club who only turkey hunted. No one saw him during deer season. No one turkey hunted but him. I guess he was a happy fella with about 1100 acres all to himself back then. Seems most leases now won't offer any turkey rights.
