Looking for lease or club in Monroe County - 08/07/20 01:38 PM

Quite specifically in the area between Franklin, Beatrice, and Vrendenburg. I would prefer it be very near this area if not within it.

Good luck. I've been looking in and around Franklin for a few years now with no luck.

Lease Land is very hard to come by . Most folks are leasing sight unseen as soon as it comes available . There were a few Rayonier tracts posted near Beatrice back in May . They lasted about 2 days.

Forever Wild has some really nice property in Franklin and a buddy is selling his hunting camp on highway 41 right down the road from it if you know of anyone looking.

Thanks Tall Dog. I'm actually buying the camp property my former club occupied but we lost our lease. The camp is 32 acres, which I plan to hunt occasionally, and we are very close to the Red Hills FW property and I plan to hunt that as well but public land rules aren't the most attractive.

Sorry to hear yall lost that lease. We killed some nice bucks on that property the camp is on when I was in that club.

My buddy was in Rocky Hill hunt club before they lost the lease. Before that we hunted property together on the old fire tower rd for lots of years . Back in the 80’s and 90’s those hills and hollows gave up some super bucks and the the turkey hunting was AWESOME. Sure miss those days.
My buddies house is close to the old fire dept .

Yeah I heard about what it was before the big hardwoods were cut. The potential is still right there if the bucks are allowed to get to 4.5-5.5. I can't brag on the turkey situation though.
If I'd known during the season that the son of our old club president was going to sell off his inheritance, I sure would've put a pile of deer down between myself and the GF.
