Glad to see buck requirements are "mature" bucks and not "8 pt or better". Two bucks in the food plot and unfortunately, here's how it goes too often: A really nice and mature 6 pt and a nice 8 pt feeding together. Can't shoot the 6 pt but - 1,2,3...7,8boom! Down goes a 2.5 yr old 8 pt and the 4.5 yr old 6 pt runs off.

How to tell the difference in age? It takes a lot of personal dedication and time to educated yourself and trigger restraint. But so does everything that is rewarding.

Away, great luck and it looks like your club in doing it right. But I urge you to be open-minded that not all 4 yr old bucks are of mountable caliber! Using game cameras are a huge help in ID'ing mature bucks to shoot. If he's 4 yrs old, pick the fruit!!

Thanks for reading my commentary and I'm sure you'll get your members!!! GREAT luck!
