Me and a buddy have a tractor with bushhog, plow and disc we are wanting to use for hunting rights. Just let me know what we can do.

I know. I told him I would ask. He doesn't even hunt so I have no clue why he would ask. I am happy with one.

Most of the time in a situation like you're describing, hunting rights are exchanged for tractor work and planting (you doing the tractor work and buying the seed and fertilizer). I've seen that done a good bit but unless you've got a big club with a ton of members to keep the dues down really low for the "paying members", I dont know of many clubs that would swap rights for just bushogging the roads and disking the fields. Good luck with it. Hopefully you'll find someone to take you up on your offer.

Thanks. It's worth a shot. I probably won't get to go 3-4 times. If something happens I'll just have to give him a deer.

We have a similar arrangement with one of our members. He does all the tractor work i.e. bush hogging, plowing, disking for 900 acres. The members pay for the seed and fertilizer and we all get together with multiple tractors for the planting weeeknd. He gets a discount on a membership but not a whole membership for free.

I would think you could find somebody to deal with.
I always have folks wanting to borrow my equipment or hire me to plant.
Seems like there's a lot of clubs, out there, needing someone with a tractor.

Being as how hiring tractor work is probly around 100.00 an hour its pretty legit. Just most clubs have members with tractors.

I could see letting a guy hunt for a couple weekends, or a solid 7 days. But for a whole season it would be a lot of tractor time. Maybe if I had 500 acres and could give you 100 acres for work provided. Good luck with it.
