If you want trophy quality or a realistic opportunity at 120" or better bucks you're gonna have to drive a BARE MINIMUM 2 hrs plus from Baldwin County and 3 if you're in south Baldwin.

There are exceptional properties scattered throughout Baldwin, Escambia (AL and FL), Monroe, Mobile, and Santa Rosa counties that will have this BUT they are typically well managed long time leased properties with essentially NO turn over and when they have openings they go to friends they can vouch for, not some random post they see on the Internet.

Not trying to be an ass, but trying to help you set realistic expectations. If you're willing to drive a little further, the club next us was looking for members in Wilcox County. Deer of the after mentioned size are very possible there, just not behind every tree. Club I'm speaking of is about 7500 acres and $2500 in dues (as best I know). I'm not in it, don't know any of the people personally and cannot answer any other questions except where it is. If you're interested pm me and I'll get you some contact info. I'll tell you now though, the gate is 120 miles from Bay Minette and they don't have a camp house. There are places available to rent and they may have a place to put a camper.

Good luck. Very good deer hunting can be had within your driving distance but if you get invited into one of those places go buy lottery tickets THAT DAY. I've lived down here 20 years and met hundreds of farmers and landowners and I drive 2+ hrs from N Baldwin to get what you're looking for. Jus sayin

I'm listening intently and I should have mentioned. I am fine with up to a 2 or 3 hr drive one way for the right club or lease. Thats not just in alabama that includes mississippi, and Florida. I appreciate the info. FYI I'm well aware of the higher end properties I think your speaking off closer to coast. Those are very exclusive properties and didn't expect to get into them.

Have a lease up by Brewton. 787 acres. With 10 members it would be 787.00. Trying to get to 12 members.
