My brother has killed 2 in the 130's, and a guy across dirt road killed a 150" 10 point last year. Had tons of pics. Broke our heart, but genes are still there. Still have a couple sure enough good ones running around on cams.

Not next to lake. Opposite side of road and little farther up. Close to the vol. Fire

Yeah I am pretty sure that was the road. Haven't been there in many years! Just before I got out the club across the road killed a deer one of our guys was hunting that was snapping pine sapplings off about 4' off the ground with his antlers, like twisting them off. It was a huge non-typical in the AL top 5 I am pretty sure. Anyone remember that buck?

That would be correct. Believe it runs from Carrollton all the way to 82.

We hunt the property that borders 35 just No of 82.There are some really nice deer in this area.Decent numbers of turkeys.

Very good area. I've hunted that area for 25 years and hope I never have to leave. I'm willing to bet we are pretty close if you are along HWY 35. I'm just off 35 heading back to the West.

That deer was killed by a good friend of mine's dad. I've got a couple pics if someone wants to post them send me a # and I'll text em to you
