Dang, had to work late and missed the end. That was one of the best post in a long time. I swear, hunting and leasing is a nasty, dirty business nowdays. That thread is not a one-off either, that's what I'd say half of the hunters go through just trying to find somewhere decent to hunt.

People will do anything to get land.

Guess I missed whatever happened after my comment. If anybody is wondering why the really good clubs don't advertise here, it's so this crap doesn't happen. Have a good thing going, or working on a good thing, and someone goes around you to the landowner, outbids you, etc

Atoler is right about good clubs not posting. If I were in a really good club, I wouldn't post squat on any public forum. Even posting turkey and deer kills is dangerous. There is somebody out there stalking the pictures, tracking down the lease, and deviously planning how to '' get that land ''.

I've got some absolute stud deer pictures on my cameras from my old club that I would love to post on the trail camera forum, but out of respect for the guys that are still members, I won't do it.
