Westervelt had 340 or so acres in Tuscaloosa county listed earlier today. I know one of their employees and she posted it online

Actually there's still a 1200 acre and 600+ acre one available in Pickens County as well

"The 2 in Pickens are available. One is 600 + and the other is 1200 acres (around) I've left the office but around that. Reduced to $2600 and $10,000. Let me know if you want to go see them. Big reduction on the 600 acres. Was $6200. Will be up for renewal May 1st."

That is probably just a reduced price for the remainder of the year then it goes back up.

Yea I have seen it but I am really looking for some flat ground to hunt. I have buddies who hunt really close to those leases in Benevola and they don't see the numbers I am looking to see. Thanks for the leads though!!

Benevola don't have the deer # until you get down around the sipsey river. I looked into 600 acre until we found out where it was then bowed out. North Pickens or around Carrolton are probably the best hunting in the county IMO.

I talked to Kristie and the 2 Pickens county leases are all she has left...the Tuscaloosa tract is gone..and the price is reduced for the remainder of the year until the May renewal when they will more than likely go back up to the regular price unless both parties can agree on a mutual price...wish I had $2600 to spend on some Pickens land...
