Just looking to see if anyone knows anything about this club or ever been in it. Its in crnshaw county al

member for several years. Rules made by one person and changed when he felt like it. Nice guy but too much drama. There are deer but definitely not a trophy club. Poor communication of rule changes. Don't go in woods either. Like you if you are a food plot hunter. I would be wary of acreage. Only documentation of Rayonier portion of lease provided to members. There are supposedly two other leases but members not given information or documentation. Clubhouse has holes in wall is cold and has rats and cats and is nasty. Nice roads and layout. Good luck with it.

HOPE I'M NOT TOO LATE TO SAVE YOU FROM WASTING MONEY. To be clear. RUN AWAY FAST! Don't give F your money. It is not a trophy big buck club. There are very few deer you can harvest. You will see many deer but not many you can harvest per rules. Most of deer hang around 4,5c & 7 food plots. Some at 5 and 6 but rest are a waste. Won't see anything. Rules change when F feels like changing them. Nice guy but let a few ruin club. Brought in bad members last year and ruined club. If you like to harvest a doe or two then RUN AWAY. Went from 3 does a season to 2 then limits on which food plot you could take does at. Finally changed to two does on only two food plots no one ever saw deer on. ALSO DON'T GO IN WOODS. He wants food plot hunters only. If you are not his friend and want to hunt the woods you are out of luck. You will scare the big bucks out of the food plots if you run around the woods. He is the QDM expert and has a 1:1 buck to doe ratio. Big giant racks too. You might see feeders that you shouldn't is what I suspect. The 2000 acres is only 1387. Only given legal documents for Rayonier 947 acres. Other two leases are a mystery and you aren't given documentation to prove you can be there. Only his word you can access Rayonier through other two "mystery leases". I looked up on property appraiser website and felt uncomfortable enough to leave this club. Concerned not legal access other than what F tells you. Very unclear about and I suspect that owner of 160 acres where rat house is died recently. Only one decent rack buck in 5 years. Not a club that promotes kids hunting. One member tried to get his son's first buck for a year and got nothing. F doesn't like kids in rat house. Member defecated in toilet and left broken for all to gaze upon. These are people F brought in and ruined club. Left due to limited deer harvest over 5 years for $1500 plus the rat house fee and suspected baiting. Also suspected several members not above board. Left as there were questionable practices by some new members that ruined club. If you are law abiding RUN AWAY! Not worth the risk something questionable is going on. Had a good core group but many left. Trust me when I say don't waste your money. I sat in stands all day in rut and saw few deer you could harvest. Lots of smaller bucks and does but very few you could harvest. Hate to see people deceived or get in trouble for what a few rotten apples do. I feel bad for the only two decent members left in the club. Nothing worse than someone who is not completely honest about what your money gets you. Caveat emptor.

Used to cost $200 to stay in rat house. Raised to $300 after built bunk beds and fixed leaks in roof. Probably go up to $400 knowing F. Nice holes in exterior walls and floor for rats and other varmints. Some gaps are 7+" . If not for gas heaters you would freeze to death if rats don't eat you first. Plastic over busted windows. Rat droppings on kitchen counters. One day a mouse ran across and tried to steal a potato chip. All of a sudden a giant rat ran out and grabbed mouse in mouth and ran into wall.

One idiot thought it was smart to shoot a rat with his pistol that ran across floor. Same idiot would wake the serious hunters up with his train horn at ungodly hours. This 50+Year old married idiot and his idiot young twenty something buddy, that just joined and ruined the club, thought it was a bright idea to leave camp and go to a college campus to watch the Super Bowl . Young idiot snuck old idiot into frat party by giving him the secret sign and ate their food and drank their beer. They then engaged in coitus with some of the frat brothers' girlfriends. Then the idiots drove home and (you guessed it) woke all the real hunters up with the train horn so they could brag about what they did. Old dumb married member stole the young woman's underwear and hung on the coyote mount in club. There were children staying in the house but the dumb idiots were drunk and didn't care. No deer for them they were so drunk. These are the idiots you will find at Mt. Ida Hunt Club with exception of two standup guys and their kids. Take my advice. RUN AWAY FAST! Don't give F your money!
