Re: Possum Creek in Perry County has openings - 06/04/15 04:28 PM

It's in southeast Perry county just above the Dallas/Perry line in the Suttle area. The OP can give you a little better description.

Its in Suttle, and surrounded by like minded clubs for the most part. Loaded with deer and turkey. We killed 80 + deer last year.

If I wasn't looking for my own piece of land to lease, I would join this club in a heart beat. Wish I had joined it 10 years ago.

Good area if anyone is wondering. This from someone with no horse in the race, but I have hunted in the area a couple of times and would love to be in a club like this if I were looking.

Flop,

Corn Dog has been handling the Aldeer responses, but, we have been showing people around and getting responses from multiple media responses right now. We've been telling everyone that says they want in that a check in our hand is the best guarantee that you get a spot. Lots of people want a great clubhouse, 75 greenfields and 200 acres/member until they see the price. We are down to one spot and a guy says he has a check coming. The last thing we want to do is tell someone they are in and one of the other 5 board members has made an offer to someone and we have to tell that person "Sorry, but we are full and now you can't join" after we tell them there is a spot.

We just added an additional 1,000 acres and we are not used to looking for members. Sorry if we have offended anyone. If we still have a spot we will move to the next person on the list. I feel bad because I lost a phone number from a guy in Mobile. Hope you are not him.

Re: Possum Creek in Perry County has openings - 06/19/15 05:11 PM

No it wasn't me. I just pmed corn dog last week asking if I had teen boys that hunted if that would be a problem. No response. It was read. So I took it as it was a problem. The money wouldn't be a problem if my boys could also hunt.
