WTB dove gun - 07/31/21 03:26 PM

Preferably a 20 gauge, OU or semi autos. I’m not looking for a high end gun. Something like a yildiz, stoeger, tristar etc...

I think academy has some 20 gauge yildiz for about $450 -475 if I remember correctly

Id love one of those yildiz. Last time I went in academy they didn’t have any 20s, I’ll have to check again.

I'm just guessing here, but I'd imagine he's talking about BP in Spanish Fort.

Keep an eye out at Walmart. I’ve seen a few Tri Stars for around $380.

Our Walmart had a Weatherby SA-08 for $480. Gun stores seem to have lots of storger 3020s in stock for $500, but the composite stocks on those things are really cheap feeling.

I would go buy a Beretta A300 Outlander. Those guns are hard to beat for the money. I bought one several years ago and I have been very satisfied with it especially given what it costs.

Got an older Beretta A301 with a 28” modified barrel and very nice wood. I’d part with it for $800 but I’m at the far end of the state. I have a lease in Sanford though, I’ll be going there several times in the next several weeks.

Do you have 20 gauge shells? I went to a local pawn shop today that even with the current shortage has had some decent supplies of ammo. We scraped up 19 boxes of 20 gauge shells. All that was left when I left was buckshot and high brass #4's. They had lots of options in 12 gauge

That’s a good point fur. I’m open to 12 gauges as well. I only dove hunt once or twice a year and I’m pretty piss poor at it so I don’t think it matters what I shoot.
