Free radial saw - 07/26/21 10:01 PM

Free 12" radial saw to someone who can use it. Cleaned out Pepaw's wood shop & I know I'll never put it to use.
Should add I'm just East of Huntsville.

The table on that saw looks new or that saw wasn't used much! Should be a workhorse for somebody!! Great offer and hopefully your generosity will come back to you tenfold!

I decided to back out after discussion with owner so I'm pretty sure it's back open. Its a 240 volt so I didn't get it.

Had me drooling until you said 240 volt. I didn’t know they made them like that.

There should be a wiring diagram on the inside cover on the side of the motor where the curly black wire is going in. Most of the older saws (I dont know the age of this one) were able to be wired for 120 or 240. Post a model number or see it the motor plate reads 120/240 0r 115/230 and that is a indicator.

Doubt you have a 120v option on a 3.5 hp saw. Too many amps.

Oh lordy, I'll bet I chopped at least a half million 2X4s with a radial arm saw as a young man cutting webs in a truss shop and probably a few thousand with one just like that one on my brothers porch. The saws in the truss shop were much bigger of course.
