Some Gloss scopes actually bring a premium now; there is one of those on EBay at $314 + shipping and tax , and not closed yet. Just sold for $385 with tax ansd shipping.
One , like new , in box went for $440 +$13 shipping and tax.
The guys trade value is about right

Yeah he's a lil off on his value of the scope

Can buy the EFR for $349 new which is a better 22 scope imo

He wants to trade for 5 bricks of Remington thunderbolt .22 ammo.......I don't think that's $350.

Probably put a high price on it because he'd rather trade for the ammo than sell it
