Price Check 30-30 - 11/28/20 09:46 PM

Looking at a Marlin 30AS in 30-30, i think made in 1987. It is used, but not abused, still locks up tight and barrel looks good. Has birch stock, no scope.
about what are 30-30's going for in this condition? thanks

$325 if has some rust but see them for more with bluing wear and rust spots but won’t buy them
if no rust good deal is $375 or less
See $450 but think that’s high.

If I were buying, I’d want it to be around $350 or less.

I would expect them to be asking $400-$450 with the market like it is right now.
I looked for something exactly like that for months and finally just bought a new one when I found one.

That is a good price for it.

You guys show me where you can buy a JM stamped Marlin .30-30, in real good condition for $350.00 to $375.00, and I'll buy them by the truckload all day long.

I saw a 30AS sell for just under $600.00 ($589.00 if I remember correctly) on Gunbroker a couple weeks ago.
Used to be able to buy a JM stamped 30-30 in great shape for $300.00. Those days are gone.
If you can get a 336 now in good shape for less than $500.00 you better jump on it if you want it.
A 30AS is a less expensive 336. Basically the same gun but with a dovetailed front sight instead of ramped.
