ISO 2 seater kayak - 07/28/20 02:40 AM

Looking for a kayak to play around in with the kids.
I'm in Guntersville but would be happy to travel a ways to get one. Everything near me seems to be sold out right now.

Craigslist is usually full of tandem kayaks...look in the "boats" section. Be forewarned, though, there's a reason a ton'o'tandems are for sale!

Which Craigslist you looking at?

Huntsville, Birmingham, Gadsden have plenty of kayaks, no tandems.

yup - my buddy called it the divorce kayak. Finally took a seat out of it and got another single person boat.

I just want something lighter than my canoe to put my 3 year old in.

I use a single kayak and have one of them inflatable inner tubes with the bottom in it my 6 year old rides in tied behind me. I've done it this way since she was 3. They are like $12 at walmart or academy

that's not a bad idea. I was kind of wanting the kayak to throw my dog in when duck hunting as well but if it comes down to it I might try the inner tube idea.

Quick look from the Gulf to the Tn state line turns these up...this is not including inflatables, or kayaks listed in ads with a bunch of other stuff and not specifically named in the description.

Thanks!

Florida is too far, not sure why I didn't check in Montgomery or the shoals.
