Ammo trades

I’m looking for a few different types of ammo to shoot out of my rifle to see what might shoot decent in it without having to buy 6-8 full boxes and only shoot 4-5 rounds from each then just have them sitting on a shelf until someone needs a box. That’s pretty much what I have got right now.
I’m looking for some 308win.
I have various other calibers such as 270, 243, 30.06, and 708.
I usually reload all my own ammo but I will find a factory ammo that shoots very well as a backup. All ammo I will offer is FACTORY LOADED. I will not attempt to trade off any of my reloaded ammo.
I’m looking for mid grade ammo and up, In 125-150gr. Fusions, Accubonds, Partitions, Barnes or similar, as I have already tried the lesser priced ammo,

The 165 grain is the only load you need. It's the perfect coefficient for a 308.

I agree with outback. Just buy some federal premium 165 sierra gameking boat tails. If you ever come south, I’ll give you three to try.

Well it sure didn’t like the Hornady Superformance 150gr SSTs. I have a few boxes of 130gr TTSXs I will eventually be working a load up with but haven’t had any time to stop long enough to even try anything with them yet

I don't like the SSTs either.

Nothing can outperform the good old fashioned soft lead point.

I never have either but I had 2 boxes so I gave them a try. I have 1 full box of those left if someone has something to swap for them

168 gr AMAX is your ticket. Lays deer DEAD.

I played with a lot of 308 ammo before I settled on the Australian Outback with 150gr Scirocco II as the perfect whitetail round in the 308 rem 700 LTR I had. They shoot as flat as a 308 can, has a good BC, expand well and hold together and are not temp sensitive. The 125gr shot really well and penetrated in water jugs as deep as an 80gr barnes 243.

I no longer need any of these.

Get some 165 or 180 Fusions. Bang flop.
