Wish you were closer. I've got a bald eagle feather headdress hanging in my trophy room, right above the full body mounts of a 'squatch and a black painter engaged in a battle to the death, just how they were locked up when I shot 'em both.....with one bullet. #6.5CreedLife

the best place to find them is to find a burial mound, its chock full of them. The second place to look is in wma's, carry a walking stick to help search for them.

I met this crazy dude one time who's bloodline was predominately native american. He swore up and down that artifacts "called to him". Said that he was driving up the road one day and got the urge to pull over and walk out into a field. Claimed that he walked out to a spot, looked down, and there laid a stone point at his feet. Also claimed that I could blindfold him, take him anywhere out in the woods, and he could run back without ever taking the blindfold off or hitting a tree.

I wish. I was 16 at the time, I wasn't as much of an azzhole as I am now and didn't know how to capitalize on a fun situation.

Plenty of good stuff on Seven Mile Island.

I know a guy that got busted on seven mile back some years ago and paid his attorney in artifacts.

Re: Wanted Indian Artifacts - 04/30/19 10:40 PM

A strong word of advice. No matter how good you think you are at spotting fakes, if you start buying artifacts, you will get burned. I collected for a few years after starting with stuff I personally found. I started getting a little more serious into it, which thank goodness, I didn't have enough money to be too serious. I quickly saw that the artifact buying/selling business is loaded with fake stuff. I unloaded the few things I had bought and now only have stuff i found or friends have found. Run, Run now, or you WILL get burned. I can assure you of that.
