Looking for the 5 or 6 digit model number to get complete specs.
If you just bought it 3 months ago I doubt it is a vari x iii. They quit making those a decade ago. Probably a vx3 or vx3i.

You mean VX-III? If so, those began manufacture in 1998 and that is when VARI-X III ended.

Match it to the current VX-3i with same features(reticle, CDS, tube size , turrets, AO/Side focus etc.) , take a stiff drink and knock 30% off if its a VX-III. If its a VARI X; take off more.
