Savage 99

I have a very nice Savage 99, 300 Savage made in 1947 for sale. Case coloring on lever is flawless, matching #s on stock and receiver, brass counter works great. Rifle comes with a set of RCBS dies and 50 pieces of brass (34 unfired, 16 once fired, all same lot #). I'm in Mississippi so $650 shipped to your ffl if not local. Additional photos by request. Gents - fwiw - I paid $850 for my '52 in this shape! And was damned happy to get it for that! If you want a very nice 99, and the 300 Savage is a great cartridge, and comes with dies, don't miss this one. You won't be disappointed! And I will share load data

that means it was set up for a Weaver side mount or maybe a Griffin and Howe Side mount. Either way, it will take a scope if you can find the mounts

Have you looked at peeps? You can get a tang peep for that one. I have peeps on ALL mine. I can't see blades for $h!t anymore either! If you hang onto it, and want to try a couple rifles with peeps - both receiver mounted and tang pointed, let me know. I have some you are welcome to shoot

It is factory drilled and tapped for a tang sight. If I keep it, that's the way I'll go. Thank you so much for the offer to shoot yours.
