Remington Sportsman 78 .308 - 12/19/16 12:47 AM

This rifle is in excellent shape and will shoot as good or better than any factory rifle available. For those who don't know it basically a 700 ADL without the high polish blue. It's got a Vortex viper HS 2.5-10x44 that can be bought separately or I'll sell both as a package.

Rifle only $350.00
Scope only $375.00
Both for $700.00

The group below was shot with this combo using Hornady Custom 165gr BTSP @ 100 yards.

Nice rifle, too far for me or it'd be gone.

Is that a 78 or a 788?

I have this gun in 30 06, I'm not a collector and its the only gun I have hunted with for 25 years. When I pull it up I know what's going to happen.

It's a 78. The 788 is a totally different rifle.

Nothing in particular. I'm really trying to fund another rifle. I'm open to all offers though. I'm particularly fond of .260's and 7mm-08's

12-16 hour days on the potato farms of St. Elmo, AL in the summer of 1986 funded the purchase of the same gun in .270 and it still comes out of the safe from time to time.
Like gundoc said, 700 ADL without anything fancy. Fancy don't kill deer grin

Good luck with the sale

Had a 78 30-06. Still hate that I got rid of it.
