05 Tacoma motor

Anyone have a used pull out or a totaled Tacoma with the 4.0 v6. Someone thought it would be fun to pour sugar down my gas tank.

If it's just in the tank no need for an engine. Sugar doesn't dissolve in gasoline and the fuel filter will catch it.

Take it to a mechanic shop and have them drop the tank, flush it and put in a new fuel filter and you should be good to go.

You need to fire your mechanic.

The Pistons and cylinders look like a hot dog you left in the fire for 10 min. Black and burn as they can be. Not a drop of oil used.

They have a liquid. Even like a mt dew will get through it they say.

The motor it lock up tighter than heck. We put a long socket and a 4 ft pry bar and it would not budge.

Sugar will kill a gas engine dead. If you don't believe it, you just haven't seen it

I know everything on the nets true but sometimes it just not. It won't fully disolve, however it will turn to an almost syrup consistency with the heat and by the time it gets to the high temps of the combustion chamber it will start to crystallize and prevent the lubrication of the cylinder walls. Soon after you can put a socket and a 4 foot pull handle on the crank and use it for midget diving board

Unless you like a good ol butt raping, id find one else where, if he's wanting 2350 for a long block is what it'll be no accessories or anything you could probally go to toyota dealership and get one for 2400 just an example, he knows he's got alot of late model stuff and knows he might be the only one in cullman thay has one and he usually chargers almost new price so just price shop before you commit

Locking gas cap just for sure in future! Won't stop them, but may give you hint when they trying to break into it. Will insurance cover that?
