Check with the Ammo Dump (look him up on facebook) in Clanton, AL I was in his shop Friday and he has some in G43. Not sure on the price but it is a nice little carry piece.

GLock 43, more accessories availability and the LC9 trigger is a mile long.

Surefire, I'm in the same boat as you...looking for a small, single-stack 9mm and have basically narrowed it down to the same 2.

Everyone here seems to be saying G43, but if you google "Glock 43 vs Ruger LC9 Pro", the general consensus among most forums is the Ruger is the better gun. Better trigger, fewer issues, slightly smaller.

you'll notice "Pro" above is underlined and bold.....If I, personally, were looking at an LC9, the Pro is the only one I'd consider. supposedly has a much better trigger than the original LC9 and no external thumb safety (which was a no-go for me since the thumb safety is only right-handed and I'm a lefty).

I have a Glock 23 and LOVE it. I really wanted to sell myself on the Glock 43, but after everything I've read, I'm leaning WAY toward the LC9 Pro.

NOTE: I have shot the LC9 but not the Glock 43, so take all of the above for what it's worth.

I own the G43 and I'm satisfied with it. I haven't had any issues with it but it hasn't been shot alot either. I've never shot the LC9.

Pick what you want I do understand that, but my brother has a LC9 and I have a 43 and a few other glocks. If you are used to a glock trigger you are crazy to go with a LC9 if you bought a 43 it feels idenical to a 23 trigger you would not have to adjust at all. LC9 is a fine gun but I would put a 100 dollars down that I can group tighter with a 43 i have done it every time I have went out.

43. Hands down! Spend the extra money. Glocks are proven durable, accurate and reliable. Mine is a tack driver at 25 yards with Hornady self defense.

NOTE: My friend has one and his has a tight chamber. He said it runs factory ammo just find. But his 9mm reloads he has that run in all is other guns seem to be just a tad long (case length) for the G43 to go lock into battery.

Has anyone else noticed this or did he just get a tight chambered barrel. He is a gunsmith also so if it a problem he can fix his.
