BROWNING BAR BELGIUM

BROWNING BAR BELGIUM - 04/29/16 04:06 PM

30/06 with redfield 3x-9x

Gun and scope are in EXCELENT CONDITION! But stock has minor handling marks. I wouldn't even call them scratches. I doubt the gun has had a full box of ammo run thru it.
I'm in Pensacola.

$800 FIRM

TRADES-
Remington or Winchester stainless fluted bolt action rifles
Kimber, sig, colt stainless 1911
Stainless sp101
Upper end low round count ar-15
8 crisp $100 bills
Winchester sx3 wood furniture

Looks like a '71 model.

Models made in the 60's were single digits M7=67,M8=68 M9=69 beginning in 1970 they used M70 for 1970 and so on. M was Browning's code for BAR. This system was used through 1975 which was the end of the true Belgium guns.

The grade II ended when they went to assembling in Portugal. The last couple years of grade IIs had gold triggers. I had a '74 .270 with the gold trigger.

Nice looking gun, I got one in 30/06 if it was a 300 Magnum I would take it.

You fellers know this is a deal on a fine rifle. Somebody get off that fat wallet!

Re: BROWNING BAR BELGIUM - 05/03/16 09:26 PM

Worth every penny.

See here's my take, I'd much rather put $800 in this gun than even more in these new fangled knock offs Browning is peddling now. Same thing with a humpback A-5, for bout 7-8 hundred you can buy a nice Belgian shotgun that's the real deal.

Re: BROWNING BAR BELGIUM - 05/03/16 10:05 PM

I agree 2Dogs, I have 5 Belgium Browning shotguns and 2 Bar's. John Browning was a genius when it came to guns.
