I hunted in Coffee County today. First time I have ever been able to hunt in February. I thought the sky was falling this afternoon....turned out it was just rain.

It's pretty hot right now on my place in Baldwin County. Several new scrapes showed up last week.
Saw a young buck this morning with his back legs stained all the way to his hooves. About every 30 yds he would check the wind and lip curl. Went to same tree this afternoon, but got there a little late. Buck was standing at a scrape within 10 steps of my tree when I walked up.
It still just don't feel right hunting in Feb though.

Went out this morning and finally saw a deer, small forked horn for a couple seconds. Hopefully it gets better this week.
Best hunting of the year down here.

Saw 3 solid shooters chasing does today on the railroad between Montgomery and Mobile. Montgomery, butler,and conecuh counties. Between 7-11:30. They were after em pretty good. Stay with em boys. Its happening!
