Post season feeding - 02/01/15 12:33 PM

I guess it's officially post season for us northern section guys. Guns are cleaned and stored and the third load of hunting clothes is waiting on the wife to be finished up. beers
What goes out for your herd and when are you putting it out. Going to put a little corn out to see what made it. After that, I'm up for opinions. Only 9 1/2 months left to prepare.

Yup. Even 16% is better than nothing. Start feeding today. Deer are stressed right now and the feeding of corn dropped 99% overnight.

Corn feeding down by 99%. That's a good 1 right there. But, you did have a point.

Gonna get started on this soon myself. Not a fan of feeding corn personally. I put out oats at the farm last year and they ate it up good. Will they eat black oil sunflower seeds? Super high in fat and protein. Whatever tractor supply has I'll get, not sure if they carry water resistant protein pellets.
