Well...CRAP!!

Decided to head to the woods for my last hunt of the season, this afternoon. I've been seeing a fair amount of does, deer tracks and some good scrapes on my walk in. Today I get about 30-40 yards from where I had been seeing the sign and as I'm looking off in the woods to my right, ole big boy and his two girlfriends jump up on my left and take off. Two leaps and he was gone. All I saw was big body and antlers.

I would hunker down somewhere close. He'll start pushing those does around in that same general area. You'll get him before dark.

Rattle the corn bag loudly he didnt go far and he could care less about you. Hes got 2 distractions he is following around.

All I ended up seeing was a spike with about 2" antlers. I jump a few does in the dark walking out. My season ended without firing a shot. My boy killed two though and my twins went on their first hunt so it was a good season.
