Buddy of mine shot a giant this morning with his bow! Public land here in east central Alabama. Said it grosses around 171. I'll see if he cares if I post pictures.

Yeah I neve understood why scorers do it that way? I'm sure there's a reason, I guess it's easier adding up all the 1/8's, but they should at least let the final score be in simple form.

The net as an 8-point was 149 3/8. He had an 1 2/8 sticker and the ninth point was near 9" plus the deductions from mass measurements.

Big game hunter said his net as an 8 was 149 and change which is after the deduction of the 9th point I believe. His total score (gross) was 162 and change.

I grew up in Oxford and know there are some sho nuff monsters roaming around Pelham Range.

The net score is 149 3/8 after deducting the 2 non-typical points.
