Beautiful morning fellas I'm set up on a longgin road in some thinned out pines with a patch 60 yards behind me even though I'm not to worried about it good luck to all should be a good one

I'm in a ladder stand about 500 yds from where I shot an 8 pointer yesterday. Beautiful crisp morning.

On my club in Creola today up high in a pine waiting patiently.....

They are moving here, but I think we are just a few days off yet before the rut is wide open. Watched four big nannies for about 30 min feed through but no sign of chasing or trailing bucks. From now till Feb 22 gonna be real good!

Wish I would have had this morning yesterday! I was swaying in the tree like crazy about this time yesterday. Still saw a doe and a basket 6pt tho.

Picked an awesome day to use some vacation time. Shot him at 7:30 and just got him loaded up. Maybe my best buck.
Thankful for the opportunity to hunt on such a beautiful morning during the rut.
He was cruising through by himself. His neck and back are tore up bad from fighting.

Good luck fellas. Reading these posts makes it hard to sit at home. I'll be heading up tomorrow afternoon to hunt til the end of the season. I'm about 10 miles outside of Clayton so I'm hoping it gets wide open soon, but not too soon.

I just shOt a good buck running at me coming down the road.. He followed my scent trail all the way to me. Shot center mass and he tag off in the pines.. I'm nervous as all get out!!
