WMA Question - 12/21/14 09:54 AM
Can my girlfriend go and sit with me during a gun hunt with no license. She will never be in control of the gun. Literally just wants to go to spend some time together outdoors. We just moved to Bham away from family land and leases and I havent hunted a WMA in years until a few weeks ago.
Heck yeah. As long as she doesn't have a gun.

As long as she is not aiding in the hunt she is fine. Thats what a gw told me anyway

I emailed the state and they said my wife didn't need anything if she wasn't helping with the hunt. Ended up getting her a fishing license, which, best I can tell, allows her to hunt small game on a WMA.

. A wildlife heritage license us included with the freshwater fishing license which enables you to hunt small game on wma . Outdoor alabama has the whole explanation.
