Sitting in a thicket waiting on big boy.
Rattled in a really nice 3 year old 8 point earlier and would've shot him had I not killed the buck yesterday, but let him walk and got good video of him; smoked a doe with the bow about 10 min ago so I'm having a great morning!!

What part of the state are you in?
Just had another buck run a doe by me. This spot is on fire this morning. These are the mornings I love as a hunter.
Barbour/russell county line. The rut is def on here where I am. Seen 6 different bucks chasing the past 3 hunts

Dirty scoundrel lol. I've found that parking the truck by these road stands makes the deer stop and look. Gives my old butt time to shoot lol.

I don't have one. Let me know where/how and I will put one on. Just saw a spike and I think that was one of the biggest bodied spikes I've ever seen. The truck thing worked like a charm he stood there and posed a couple of minutes 👍

Yes set on it's haunches looking that direction and then BOOM!!!!! I hit low but was aiming low due to the way I have my gun zeroed. It was 142 yards. Maybe the turkey gods will be kind enough to place a couple of tom's here for me this spring because we all know there are NO turkeys in Alabama 😉

We are in a lock down right now in Tuscaloosa. Nothing in the fields this Mornin and nothin in my favorite creek bottom spot. Gonna take a few friends and cover the entire cutover this week to see where we are on activity. I bet we are about 10 days out.

Tkry you not finding any scrapes and such?... no chasing or any that tho. The movement was plentiful up till over a week or week half ago, I mean multiple deer on just bout every hunt... now seems to be locked down. Im still going try my hand at it tomorrow.
