Walker Co Giant??

Anybody heard about a huge typical deer going down in Walker Co today? I heard from a reliable source that he will push 190"

That'd be a great one to see.

That's an awesome deer. I can't see any reason it wouldn't hit 190. It has all the makings. Heavy mass all the way on its beams, tall tines, and long beams. I just don't see anything missing. Congrats to the hunter!

We'll I'm just going by what I was told by people that have no reason to lie. I know the exact property where it was killed. I also know they have shot a gross booner off the property the last two years. They could be lying to me but I doubt it.

I got sent a pic of that buck yesterday. It was shot 3 miles from where I hunt.

in walker cty Mike. About three miles from where that deer was shot. He was killed behind Odums Grocery I was told.

there are some great deer in that area no doubt.

I don't understand why all you guys want to know exactly where this deer was killed in Walker Co. You could hunt the same area for the next 50 years and never see another one like it.

Or 100 years but still like to know where it come from.

My guess is most of them hunt in Walker co. and hope it wasn't, or was close to their place. That would sting a little if it came from next door I'd imagine.

I just live in Walker Co. But do very little hunting there anymore.

I've seen other pictures of this deer from different angles. It's not as big as these pics look. I'm thinking 170ish. Still a hoss.

I saw some other pics also and thought the same. I did hear that they roughed him at 154 with no mass taken. I don't think he goes 190 but if what I hear is true I feel certain he has 30" of mass but I guess we will see. I'm referring to gross obviously. He will be a booner but not sure if he is anything other than that

Nope, that's not going to net 170" either after it's over. Now, not that it aint a GREAT deer. It most certainly is, but those first pics were deceiving.

that deer will gross gross in the 180's, prolly won't net 170 though.

I like the look of that rack, all kinds of stuff going on. Stickers galore, palmation and bladed brow guards. If he had a drop tine he couldn't get no better.
